Have you ever heard about 13 May tragedy? Why is it a sensitive issue among Malaysian?
What really happening at the moment? Well, here it goes..About 44 years ago, there was a riot in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur where many people were killed. Thus, make the Malaysian nowadays becomes so sensitive regarding the racism issue.
Actually, 13 May incident has been a tragic incident where there was a parade limited to a number, but the people attended the parade exceeding the limited number, so it has caused a chaotic situation when Democratic Action Party won the election held 2 days before, the DAP supporters brought broom which means 'sweeping the Malay out of Kuala Lumpur'. This has caused the riot to Malay people because they think it has gone too far, besides the exceeded number attended the parade.
There were also many Malay people killed in the cinema. which before that there's a chinese character screened on the cinema, then the Chinese went out leaving the Malays in the cinema. the Cinema then was burnt with the Malay inside it.
